Fallout 4 VR on HTC Vive will still support the Xbox One controller

E3 has not failed to disappoint this year with some amazing titles being released. One of which being Fallout 4 specifically designed for virtual reality and following the unveiling, more details have emerged namely the control options available for the title.

The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) is always packed with great new games and concepts but perhaps my personal favorite is Fallout 4 in virtual reality. The great news is for those who perhaps are not a huge fan of the motion controllers on the HTC Vive, you’ll be pleased to know that the Xbox One controller will still be supported as a method of input.

While you may lose out on some of the small optimizations that using the official motion controllers will inevitably bring, it does offer a good alternative for someone who prefers to play using a traditional controller.

Fallout 4 VR will launch later in 2017 and takes one of the greatest titles and combines it with virtual reality. The immersive nature that this inevitably provides will no doubt bring a whole new dimensions to the story line. Fallout 4 VR is confirmed for the HTC Vive thus far with no details yet available on if it will remain an exclusive or be released on other virtual reality platforms.
