We’ve seen quite a few 360 cameras make their way across our news desk over the last year or so, but few have boasted the specs of something like the Insta360 Pro.
The unit can output 8k 360 degree images for users to enjoy, and can also live stream 4k stereoscopic video. Sporting dual SD card slots and a USB-C port, users will be able to record a huge amount of high quality video and transfer it without needing to remove SD cards from the device. With an Ethernet port built into the unit itself, users will also be able to ensure smooth and stable live-streaming if they have access to a network port.
With a 5,000 mAh removable battery sitting in the device you should be able to get a decent amount of footage on one charge, though you could always hot swap it for a spare if you need to. With real-time image stitching happening within the device itself, you won’t need to use any external software, though you can always use the editor included with the unit to render video for publishing.
The Insta360 Pro is up for pre-order now for $3,499.99, which is quite a competitive price for a camera of this caliber.
