GDC 2017 is currently in full swing in San Francisco California, and virtual reality seems to be completely dominating the conference. Oculus in particular has made quite an enormous splash at the event, announcing 6 new major releases just yesterday, and showing off what the future of virtual reality will look like. Last night, Joe Durbin from Upload VR had the opportunity to sit down with Head of Content Jason Rubin, who spoke to Joe about the state of the company, and what consumers can expect to see from Oculus in 2017.

When asked about the roadmap for the current year, Rubin commented that the company would be pushing out at least one major release every month for the entirety of 2017, which is an incredibly exciting prospect. We’ve already seen 6 new titles be announced from the company, and the idea that we will get some wholly new titles we don’t know about yet makes the future of the industry look bright.

Are there any particular franchises that you are hoping to see make their way to the headset? We still have no idea what the company has in store, but it will be one heck of a ride as we make our way through the year.

More to come.
