The new game Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality has been making its way across a number of conventions over the last year, but it’s finally time for consumers to get this game into their own home. After months and months of speculating as to what the release date of the new game was going to be, Owlchemy Labs and Adult Swim games have finally announced when you can I can play it: April 20th.

It’s likely no coincidence that this is the final release date for the game. In case you weren’t aware, April 20th is also known as 4/20, a date in which marijuana enthusiasts come together to smoke unruly amounts of cannabis. Adult Swim and Rick and Morty creator Justin Roiland are known for going against the curve and intentionally doing ridiculous things like this, so it is weirdly appropriate for a Rick and Morty title to release on this day.

The game takes place in Rick’s garage, giving players the chance to play with various tools and chemistry sets. A large portion of the game is paying attention to the characters ridiculous voice lines and interactions, so fans of the show will likely get a total kick out of the game.

Are you stoked to try out the title? It’ll be out very soon, so we’d love to get your take when it launches.
