The game industry is filled with exclusives. Many of these titles stay on their initial platform for the lifetime of the franchise, but sometimes these ‘exclusives’ simply launch on a specific platform first, and eventually make their way over to others down the road. This latter method is the case with the rhythm game Thumper.

Originally debuting as a Playstation VR launch title, the game has finally made its way to the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. Though there was not a lot of anticipation and buildup to the game since it is a brand new title, it quickly became a smash hit, and was extremely well received from Playstation VR fans.

Now only about 2 months since the initial launch, HTC and Oculus fans get to experience the title for themselves. The game was originally played with the Playstation 4 controller, so we’re not quite sure how adding motion controller support is going to change the experience, but we’re just glad people now have the option.

Have you played this title? Are you hyped about the port?
