Ubisoft has proven itself to be one of the biggest game publishers to be “all-in” on virtual reality gaming, with several titles in the works and big plans ahead. The publisher has just announced that, starting with the launch of its Eagle Flight game on Nov. 29, its VR titles will offer cross-platform multiplayer for PlayStation VR, HTC Vive and Oculus Rift headset owners.
Eagle Flight, which as the title of the game suggests has the player controlling the mighty bird in the air, will be released first for the PSVR and Oculus Rift, with HTC Vive support being added on December 20. The game lets players soar as an eagle over an abandoned Paris and players can race against each other as virtual eagles in the skies.
The second Ubisoft VR game, Werewolves Within, will be released on Dec. 6 for all three platforms. It will pit players against each other as they try to find the werewolves that are hidden in their village.
Finally, the highly anticipated Star Trek: Bridge Crew, where you will command a Federation starship with three other players in the “Kelvin timeline” version of the sci-fi franchise, will be released on March 14.
Are you psyched for cross-platform titles like these?
