As a kid, I had a practical list of things I wanted to be — you know: a jedi, a wizard, and, of course, a super hero. This October I’ll be able to cross that last dream job off my bucket list at least, as Batman: Arkham VR is coming to the Sony Playstation VR allowing PSVR users to take on the roll of the dark knight himself.

Not a lot is known about Arkham VR, though we do know it is developed exclusively for the Playstation VR by Rocksteady Studios. Story and gameplay details are pretty light, though the game teases us to “think like Batman and utilize his legendary gadgets to unravel a plot that threatens the lives of his closest allies.”

Having a big profile title like Batman: Arkham VR is a huge win for Sony, as the company continues to bring big AAA game developers over to its VR platform. In contrast, HTC Vive and Oculus Rift are primarily attracting indie developers, with a few notable exceptions like the upcoming Fallout 4 VR port for the Vive.

What do you think, excited to see Batman: Arkham VR come to the Playstation VR? How do you feel Sony’s VR platform compares to its rivals? Be sure to stay tuned for more great coverage from E3 2016 as we bring you the very best VR-related news, announcements, and hands-on videos.
