Only a matter of time before a flood of me-too PC-based VR headsets?

Right now, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive are obviously the two big dawgs in the PC-based VR arena. That said, the OSVR HDK2 can run many of SteamVRs' games, and the PicoNeo is offering PC and Steam support as well. Personally I think it's only a matter of time before some of the bigger Chinese OEMs toss themselves into the ring, offering their own headsets that play most SteamVR games but at a fraction of the price.

What do you think? And if companies like Huawei and ZTE started crafting their own headsets that worked with the PC and Steam, would you buy them?

That would take VR to a whole new-level, just like Android smartphones where one can get flagship experience in budget phones.
If they are cheap, obviously yea, I would buy the headsets from them, these brands are known for quality products for low price and I always have had good experience with Chinese products.

I would totally use a Huawei headset. We need more VR headsets on the market, especially in the high-end.
