Sony have had a massive presence at recent conferences such as the Game Developers Conference (GDC) and the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). The company are now holding its own conference for the Playstation VR in Hong Kong this month.

The press conference will be held in Hong Kong on Thursday, 28th July, prior to the Animation Comic Game Hong Kong 2016 (ACGHK) convention takes place the following day. The details of the conference were revealed by industry analyst ZhugeEX via Twitter who also pointed out that Sony Interactive Entertainment Hong Kong (SIEHK) would be attending the convention as well.

The conference will give gamers a chance to go hands-on with the Playstation VR. No details of what Sony have up its sleeve as far as new titles go have been revealed but there is a good chance that games like Resident Evil 7 and Batman Arkham VR will be showcased.
Given the location of the Sony conference it is more than likely that a lot of what Sony bring will be focused on the Chinese market. VR is huge in China so it seems that Sony would like to grow awareness of its own products.
