‘Tethered’ gets Vive, Rift, and Playstation motion control support

Tethered was originally launched for Playstation VR in October of 2016, and was rated as one of the best titles to launch alongside the new headset. The game has a fun atmosphere with god-like gameplay aiding you to control small creatures and protect the villages which they inhabit, and provides quite a bit of entertainment for those that love to control troops from above. And while this games was only available for PSVR up until now, the title is finally making its way to HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and Playstation VR motion controllers.

While the release date for the new platforms and motion control update are still under wraps for now, the team did detail some new features that will be coming to both the existing PSVR release as well as the new adaptations. These features include camera scaling of the entire island, improved graphics for PC and PS4 Pro, and a new voxel effect which the devs say is used to ‘heighten visual drama’.

The specifics regarding release date and pricing should be announced in the coming days, so stay ‘tethered’ to VRSource as well as the Secret Sorcery blog to keep up to date with all the newest information.
