The world of virtual reality is about to take off as the platform sees the first headsets in the form of the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift beginning to arrive in consumers hands and reviews begin to surface. Now VR has gotten its mainstream appearance as The Big Bang Theory showed off the Zeiss VR One headset during the show.

The Big Bang Theory is viewed by millions and is seen as a show that provides a comical insight into technology and science. Featuring VR on such a show could spark a lot of interest in virtual reality and the available headsets that allow potential consumers to experience it.
