Resolution Games has just given all Demeo players who can’t wait to play the PC Edition of the game, which is coming to Stream soon, an early Christmas present: all owners of Demeo on VR will get the PC Edition free of charge.

Since the initial release of the VR Edition of Demeo on May 7, 2021, the fantasy tabletop game has attracted many players with its World of Warcraft-inspired graphics, frequent content updates, and countless opportunities for fun adventuring.

Those who already own the VR Edition of the game on Stream will automatically get the PC Edition added to their Steam Library when it launches into Early Access on April 7. Likewise, those who start with the PC Edition will automatically get the VR Edition.

Demeo adventurers on Quest or Quest 2 or Rift (purchased through Meta’s store) are also not excluded from the special offer. They will be able to launch Demeo: PC Edition for free through the Oculus Rift app on Windows.

“This is retroactive for all current owners and also applies to all future purchases. More good news? This also works in the opposite direction: if you buy the game on PC, you’re getting the VR Edition for free,” explains Jim Squires, who is in charge of Public Relations at Resolution Games.

Regardless of which store you use to download and play Demeo: PC Edition, your progress will always be synchronized across platforms, so anything unlocked in the VR version will be unlocked on PC, and vice versa.

VR and PC players can form teams together thanks to the cross-play feature, so adventuring with friends, no matter how they prefer to play, is easy.
