MeetinVR, a platform for collaborative meetings in virtual reality developed by a team of Danish developers, has just launched on the Oculus Store, allowing geographically dispersed teams to work together in beautiful VR rooms.

“We are very excited to be launching on the Oculus Store,” said Cristian-Emanuel Anton, Co-founder, and CEO of MeetinVR. “This will enable many more people to access MeetinVR’s powerful collaboration tools with minimal effort.”

The platform offers many interesting features to make virtual meetings more productive and fun for everyone. Without dealing with the limitations of the traditional whiteboard, MeetinVR users can place objects, such as images, videos, and even entire PDFs, in mid-air and make them disappear by throwing them away.

They can also create floating sticky notes by typing or using the platform’s speech-to-text feature to avoid having to remember complicated statistics and various other relevant information. Because all content is persistent, pausing a meeting and later continuing from the same place is effortless.

MeetinVR features a diverse selection of workspaces, which each room designed for specific meeting types. For example, there’s a compact room with six seats for highly focused conversations, an auditorium with 32 seats for keynote speeches, and a conventional meeting room with a U-shaped table for scrum and other Agile meetings.

Teams with up to 10 users can get started for free using Oculus Quest 1 & 2, Pico Neo 2, Pico Neo 2 Eye, Varjo, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, WMR, and Desktop Mode. The Pro version of MeetinVR costs $35 per user per month, and it includes multiple features that are not available in the free version. A 30-day free trial of the Pro version is available, and it can be canceled at any time.
