After proving its worth on SideQuest and then earning over 500 positive ratings on App Lab, Warplanes: WW1 Fighters is finally ready for its last battle for players, which will take place in the Oculus Store.

Indeed, the popular aerial combat game will release on the Oculus Quest store on July 29th, and all players who have already purchased it will get the Oculus Quest version for free.

“If you purchased the game on App Lab, the game will be upgraded to the Oculus Store version with no extra cost. All saves and settings will be compatible with the new version. Of course, you’ll be getting all future updates as well,” explain Home Net Games, the developers of Warplanes: WW1 Fighters.

The current version of the game features 18 playable planes, ranging from light scout planes to heavy bombers, and two lengthy campaigns with missions that take place in diverse locations over different seasons.

Players who appreciate realism get to enjoy detailed graphics and fully customizable flight models. The customizability also extends to various gameplay mechanics, including the option to enable or disable manual takeoffs and landings for added or decrease realism.

Besides the single-player campaigns, there are PvP and co-op multiplayer modes that let players measure their skills in intense battles. Since Warplanes: WW1 Fighters supports cross-platform play Oculus Quest players and PC VR players can meet in the same virtual sky and battle it out to see which of the two platforms has better players.

Warplanes: WW1 Fighters is available in English, French (France), German, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese (Portugal), Russian, Spanish (Spain), and Ukrainian. You will need approximately 300 MB of free space to install it.
